Chapter 8

Pip meets Miss Harvisham for the first time and she is wearing an old wedding dress. Whilst Pip Is in the house Pip sees Estella and he tells Miss Harvisham that he thinks she’s pretty and rude. Miss Harvisham asks pip to entertain her so he pretends to be a horse but he thinks its a bit weird, so he with Miss Harvisham. Estella and Pip go downstairs to eat. Estella is rude to Pip and makes him feel sad. When Estella leaves the room Pip starts to cry.

Chapter 9

Pip is on his way back home and he tells  Mrs.Joe and Mr. Pumblechook what happened while he was at Miss Harvishams house. pip lies to them because he feels that they wont believe him if he tells the truth. He tells them she’s a tall dark haired old woman who sits in a dark velvet coach. When Pip gets home he tells Joe the truth about what really happened at Miss Harvishams.
