Chapter 17

In chapter 17 Pip talks to Biddy. Biddy is similar to Pip, they both have common lives. He talks about how he wished he liked Biddy and how he loves Estella. Also in chapter 17 Orlick likes Biddy.

Chapter 18

4 years later Pip and Joe are in a bar. A stranger approaches them and tells Pip he can give him a future and educate him, but he has to be taken to London . He asks Joe if he can give Pip a future and Joe says he’s no going to stop Pip from doing something he wants. The man repeatedly asks Joe if he wants money for Pip and he gets angry because he doesn’t want money.

Chapter 19

Pip feels better in the morning. He can’t wait to get to London he comes home and shows off his self to the village.Pip tells Joe he’ll never forget him, but it feels a little bad. Things go bad, Pip and Biddy get in a fight after Pip asks Biddy to teach Joe everything she knows so that he might be worthy of his society. Biddy tells Pip Joe is proud and that he might not  to want be improved.
